It started out like every series so far but the Avolanche finally got their act together to take 4 games against Da Boys
Game 1: Arrieta cannot pitch, period. Avolanche were down 9-3 before a crazy bottom of 7 where the Avolanche score 7 to take a 10-9 lead. Alas, luck has not been a lady to the Avolanche this year as Freddie Galvis, in for defense in the 9th inning replacing Seager was hurt. This brought in catcher, Derek Norris to play shortstop. Two errors later, the bases are loaded with two out. Kenley Jansen trying to close it out for the save and a passed ball 1-4 is rolled. Of course Ramos cant stop it and the tying run scores. Off to extras. Not to be outdone, Cespedes pulls his hamstring and is out for two more games. The manager looks down the bench only to see pitchers. So in comes John Lackey to play leftfield with Derek Norris at Short. The defense let the Avolanche down as Derek Norris continued to bring his catchers glove to the field and made two more errors as Da Boys score 2 in the top of the 11th and win 12-10
Game 2: Avolanche have a team meeting to figure it out. They score 3 in the bottom of 1 and win 7-3
Game 3: Tanaka pitches a one hitter through 6 but is still pulled after 6! The bullpen continues to shut it down and face one batter over the minimum to win 5-0.
Game 4: Very low scoring game and the Avolanche hold on for a 2-1 win.
Game 5: Avolanche continue to hit and pitch and win 7-2.
